Use Design that grabs attention. Create content that Sells. Quantify and use power words. Identify and Solve Employer's Hidden Needs. Start each sentence with an action verb - they add power to your sentences. A three page resume may be the best for the vast majority of job-seekers. Sell tbe benefits of your Skills. Prioritize the content of your resume.

INTERVIEWING TECHNIQUES: First, do a little homework! Research the company and position as well, review your work experience. Be ready to support past career accomplishments with specific information targeted toward the companies needs. Always have your facts ready!

Second, once you finished studying, begin role playing. Use general questions provided below in the Interview preparation area. Go alone do not take children or friends. Greet the employer with hand shake. Make frequent eye contact. Smile, be polite, and try to relax.

Listen carefully to the questions asked. Ask the interviewer to restate a question if you are confused. Lastly, be upbeat and make positive statements. Use examples of how your skills and abilities would fit the job. Always bring the fact sheet of references you worked.

Be prepared to answer unusual, tricky questions like:
How do you handle stress or pressure?
Give us an example of a challenging situation you've overcome?
Do you prefer to work alone, or do you work better in groups?
What do you find motivates you the most?

FOLLOW UP: One of the notable factor of job success is follow up, but don't make it seem as though you are desperate. Do obtain the correct titles and names of all the people who interviewed you.

Do write individual letters to each person who interviewed you. Do follow-up with a telephone call to the employer within a week to ask about the position. Do be patient. The hiring process often takes longer than the time expected. Do'nt place too much importance on one job or one interview.
